An immigrant died and three others were rescued alive after arriving in Patera to the coast of the Almeria municipality of Níjar on Saturday afternoon, according to Efe the 112 Emergency Service of Andalusia and the subdelegation of the Government in Almería. The alert was activated around 7:20 p.m., when a hiker warned to the emergency service after seeing a boat near the shore on the rope cove, after the nucleus of the Islet of the Moor. According to the Government Subdelegation, the deceased had signs compatible with sunburn due to patera crossing, although the causes of death are still to clarify.
