Authoritarian turn in Kuwait, 42,000 citizens fallen from their nationality

In six months, nearly 42,000 Kuwaiti were fallen from their nationality, in defiance of international law. An unprecedented phenomenon which accompanies the authoritarian turn of the new emir of Kuwait, Mechaal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

Under the guise of fight against fraud, this policy strikes both naturalized citizens and political opponents.
