The most important in this is the daily security briefing in which the elected President is given information related to national security. Trump has already started appointing his staff. Since he has been President before, he is well aware of all these tasks and processes. This process also helps the head of every government agency to identify his role. At the same time, out of four thousand political posts, 1200 have to be confirmed by the Senate in which the government confirms their background during transfer. During this time, the elected President and his team formally start using government sources. The team also coordinates with the State Department so that the President-elect can talk to foreign leaders. The elected President and his wife are also given a tour of the White House so that they can give instructions regarding the decoration of the White House. The entire cost of the transfer process is met with government money and private funds. Once the President-elect is decided, $7 million is released from federal funding.
