India on Tuesday took out 75 of its citizens safely from Syria. This action has been taken by rebel forces two days after the demolition of President Bashar Assad’s government. The Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) said that the Indian embassies located in Damascus and Berut, keeping in mind the possible threat to the safety of Indian citizens, were done by the Indian embassies located in Damascus and Berut. The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that 44 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir were included in Syeda Zainab (an important pilgrimage site of Shia Muslims in Syria).
