Its action takes place in the Universe of the Star Wars a few years before the events of the fourth (according to internal chronology) or the first (under the date of the premiere) of the episode “New Hope”. Former thief Cassian Andor joins the rebels who raised weapons against the empire. The series has neither the strength nor the Jedi, and the revolution is shown as an ungrateful routine work. Unlike other series and full -length films of this franchise, released under the auspices of Disney, Andor does not exploit the nostalgia for the audience according to the original trilogy, but try to look at this story differently – only George Lucas himself dared to do this in an ambiguous, but at least the bold trilogy of prequels. And what about the orcs? ” The same kind of questions is asked by the Universe of Star Wars, the showrandner of Andra Tony Gilra (he wrote scripts for films about Jason Born). We know that the protagonist of the original movie trilogy, the young Jedi Luke Skywalker, destroyed the “death star” with a shot from a fighter, preventing her from smiling a planet with the base of the rebels. George Lucas, like John Tolkien, created a modern epic. Gilra, like the author of the Game of Thrones, is interested in things that the epic traditionally leaves the scenes. The project grew out of the full-length “Okhoya-one”, one of the first Disney projects for Star Wars, where Gilra was a co-author of the script. There was a similar concept: it was about what price the rebels paid to find out how the “death star” was arranged and where it has a vulnerable place. My review was rather skeptical: I wrote that George Lucas created this, in essence, very naive and schematic universe for one-only goal-for the sake of Jedi knights, so there is simply nothing to do without them in a distant galaxy. The brutal plot of Andra can be played in any decorations: why is it connected with the seventies cosmoore, if this series is not about the Jedi and not about the strength? The final, second season forced me to change the side – and join the fans of this project. Nevertheless, to some extent, this series is still about strength-it simply interprets it in a materialistic way. An analogue of mystical power in Andor is a desire for freedom. It is also natural, unlike the empire (which the heroes are talking about in direct words). It also connects the galaxy together. He also works miracles. It also helps the little one fight with the big one. Finally, it is also demanding: like the Jedi who gives a vow of celibacy, the rebels are forced to sacrifice personal happiness for the sake of the highest goal.
