Romania’s electoral commission shows candidacy from Georgescu

The Romanian election commission rejected the candidacy of the pro -Russian politician Călin Georgescu for the presidential election in May. The committee spoke in ten to four votes for the decision, reported Romanian media.

The decision is not yet final. The Constitutional Court must decide on the expected appeal until Wednesday. The Romanian public prosecutor initiated criminal proceedings against the right -wing extremist at the end of the past month.
