Syria: The killings of civilians cause an international outcry, Ahmed al-Charaa orders an investigation

The acting Syrian president Ahmed al-Charaa announced on Sunday the formation of an “independent commission” to investigate the current killings since Thursday in western Syria, which made according to an NGO, more than 1,311 dead, including 830 alaouites. Washington condemned the “radical Islamist terrorists” for these “massacres”, and called Damascus to prosecute the authors, after a UN call in the immediate end of the “civilians of civilians”.
