Tehran/Damascus. The fort of Basar al-Ashad has collapsed in Syria.
The five decade old rule of the Ashad family has ended. Along with this, Iran’s previous influence also started disappearing. The policy makers of Tehran got trapped in the web woven by America and Israel in such a way that they could not find any solution. The Chakravyuha of Axis of Resistance has also been destroyed. If anyone has suffered the most from the end of the Assad era, it is Iran. Syria was like a stronghold for Iran, which had lost many top commanders along with President Ibrahim Raisi, but now the situation has changed. Iran’s dreams and ambitions have been shattered. In the current situation, the biggest challenge facing Tehran is to maintain its usefulness and threat. Now the eyes of the whole world are fixed on the next step of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Will he further adopt a conciliatory stance or will he continue on the path of confrontation, because with the departure of Bashar al-Assad, the equation of balance of power in the Middle East has changed. The end of the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria will reshape the balance of power in the Middle East. Iran’s influence has suffered a major blow. Syria under Assad was part of the relationship between the Iranians and Hezbollah. The militia and political movement that Iran supports in Lebanon, Middle East, has suffered a setback. Let us tell you that Syria was an important link between Hezbollah and Iran. It was through this that Iran used to supply weapons to Hezbollah, through which it was waging a campaign against Israel. Now after the fall of Assad in Syria, Iran has withdrawn its soldiers from there. On the other hand, due to Israeli attacks, Hezbollah has not only lost its top leadership but has also become weak in every way. Assad’s wife is beauty with brain, she beats even the actresses in beauty, studied in London, has worked in a bank. After the destruction of Axis of Resistance, Hezbollah itself has become very weak after the war with Israel. During the most violent phase of the civil war, Iran sent troops into Syria and Hezbollah deployed fighters to help Assad crush the rebels. Russia was also supporting Syria to its full capacity. However, this time the atmosphere has changed. Russia has been waging a war with Ukraine for months. Lakhs of Russian soldiers have died in this. There has also been a shortage of weapons. In such a situation, Russia could not come forward in defense of Assad this time. In this way Iran’s Axis of Resistance was destroyed. The strategy of US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has achieved tremendous success. Türkiye’s support: Many people believe that the overthrow of Assad in Syria could not have happened without Türkiye’s cooperation. For some time, President Erdogan has pressured Assad to engage in talks to find a diplomatic solution to the conflict that could allow the return of Syrian refugees, at least three million of them to Turkey. This is a sensitive issue at the local level. However, Assad ignored Türkiye’s advice. Tags: Iran news, Israel News, Middle east, Syria warFIRST PUBLISHED : December 8, 2024, 23:49 IST
