"The war is over" : Relief in northeast Syrian after the agreement between Damascus and the Kurds

Three months after the fall of the regime of Bashar al-Assad, and while an outburst of violence took place in the Lattaquié region, the Kurdish authorities at the head of the autonomous administration of Northeast Syrian signed an agreement with Damascus, advocating the territorial unit of Syria. A glimmer of hope for the inhabitants of this region, who have been afraid of a new civil war for months.
