The country’s capital is now in control of Hayat al-Sham. Fighters of the rebel group have captured Damascus in just 10 days. The rebels then announced that they wanted a peaceful transfer of power, and asked the Prime Minister to remain in office until then. Now the reins of Syria will be in new hands.
