Algeria: Macron and Tebboune relaunch the bilateral relationship after months of crisis

The French presidents Emmanuel Macron and Algerian Abdelmadjid Tebboune acted a revival of the bilateral relationship, after months of crisis, which remains however suspended from the release of the writer Boualem Sansal and in challenges of domestic policy in the two countries. The two presidents, who spoke on the day of Eid El-Fitr, marked “their desire to reconnect the fruitful dialogue” engaged during the visit of Emmanuel Macron in Algiers in August 2022, according to a press release.
