Editorial Policy

This page explains how our content gets made — who writes it, who checks it, and how we handle updates and corrections.

Authorship

Every article is written or reviewed by a named staff member with relevant hands-on experience in that niche. Author bios and credentials appear at the bottom of each article.

Fact-checking

Factual claims (costs, dimensions, permit thresholds, plant hardiness, etc.) are checked against current, publicly available sources at time of writing. Where rules vary by location — permits, building codes, climate zones — we say so explicitly rather than presenting a single number as universal.

Updates

Articles display both a "published" and "updated" date. We revisit evergreen guides periodically to correct outdated pricing, broken links, or superseded advice.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email editor@newskiosk.pro with the article URL and the issue — we correct verified errors promptly.
