Jerusalem: Israel’s morale is high after the fall of Iran-backed Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday issued a direct warning to Iran and Hezbollah, saying his country would continue action against both to achieve complete victory. “I tell Iran and Hezbollah that we will continue to take action against you anytime, anywhere to prevent them from harming us,” Netanyahu said in his address shared on Twitter. “We are changing the face of the Middle East.” ‘Starting his address, Netanyahu said, ‘One year I said something very simple that we would change the face of the Middle East and we are actually doing that. Syria is no longer the same Syria, Lebanon is no longer the same Lebanon. Gaza is not the same Gaza as before and Iran, the leader of this axis (of resistance), is also not the same Iran as before. They have come to know about our strength.’ Said this on conflict with Syria: Talking about Israel’s recent actions in Syria, Netanyahu stressed that Israel has no interest in conflict with Syria. ‘We will make our policy based on ground reality. Syria has been an active enemy of Israel for decades. It has been continuously attacking us and it has also allowed others to attack Israel from its soil. Hezbollah lost Syria’s supply route. Netanyahu further said that ‘in recent days we have taken many major actions. Together with Defense Secretary Katz, I directed the IDF to thwart potential threats from Syria and prevent terrorist elements from gaining a foothold near our border. Netanyahu, citing Hezbollah leader Naim Qassim’s speech on Saturday, described the Israeli action as effective. Qasim had said that Hezbollah had lost its military supply route through Syria.
