Barely invested at the head of his party the PDCI-RDA, Tidjane Thiam may not be able to be a candidate. The justice which considered that he had lost his Ivorian nationality, ordered his radiation from the electoral list. Tidjane Thiam had dual nationality, and renounced French citizenship a few weeks ago, but the decision closes the door to his candidacy for the presidential election of October 25. Tidjane Thiam denounced a “denial of justice unworthy of a democracy”.
