The Nikkei star index sinks 3.4 %. On the Seoul Stock Exchange, the Kospitic index fell 0.8 %. The Sydney Stock Exchange drops by 1.91 %. The South Korean currency has tripped on Wednesday at its lowest level against the dollar since 2009 and the global financial crisis.
