The anonymous 4CHAN forum, also known for certain offensive content, conspirators or even racist and anti -Semitic, is offline this Tuesday, April 15, indicates the world. If some first mentioned a breakdown, 4CHAN would actually be the victim of an attack on hackers. A mysterious group by the name of Soyjak.party would have claimed the attack and published messages accompanied by racist insults according to our colleagues. But hacking did not stop there. After making fun of the administrators, the web pirates disclosed files containing data on another forum of the site, indicates Numerama. It could be personal information of site moderators. If all this information seems credible, it could not be confirmed at present. To carry out their cyber attacks, the hackers would have exploited a flaw in the 4CHAN software and would have been introduced into the database. Founded by Christopher Poole in 2003, the platform was taken up by the Japanese and creator of 2channel, Hiroyuki Nishimura, twelve years later. Since then, it is the subject of numerous complaints, notably for cyberbullying or dissemination of illegal content. Although other platforms like Telegram or Reddit have arrived in the meantime, 4CHAN remains very consulted and Donald Trump is very often mentioned.
