The authorities of the Vologda region decided to cancel the ban on attracting migrants to construction work. The corresponding draft of the governor Georgy Filimonov is posted on the portal of legal information of the region. On February 27, Filimonov signed a decree, which expanded the list of activities where the employment of foreign workers is prohibited. The new list includes, in particular, the construction and demolition of buildings, the production of various construction work. The company “Severstal” Alexei Mordashov opposed this decision, writes RBC. The company warned that this could interfere with its investment program in the region, including the construction of a complex about the production of iron ore pellets.
