The nuclear power plant “Yakutia” left the Baltic Plant – RT in Russian

A short link of the new nuclear icebreaker Yakutia left the complementary embankment of the Baltic Plant and headed to the port of the Murmansk postscript, the OSK reported. The vessel of project 22220 is designed to provide year -round navigation in the Western sector of the Arctic. “Yakutia” became the fourth icebreaker of this project, and in the near future the fleet will be replenished with three more: Chukotka, Leningrad and Stalingrad.
