The EU foreign representative Kaja Kallas has accused the United States in struggle in order not to exploit all the available funds in Ukraine. “You have tools on hand with which you can exert pressure,” said Kallas on Tuesday of the AFP news agency. “You did not use these tools.” The Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj meanwhile hopes for a meeting with US President Donald Trump at the burial of Pope Francis in Rome. Kallas said that Russia “play all these games and does not really want to do peace”. The Easter creation was only a trick so that US President Trump “does not lose patience”. Trump has been calling for a ceasefire in Ukraine since taking office in January. Putin, however, rejects a break of fire without preconditions. On Friday, Trump threatened to withdraw from the Ukraine negotiations with the withdrawal of the USA if Kiev or Moscow were “very difficult”. Kallas expressed lack of understanding of the behavior of the US government: “So if you go away now without using the tools that you actually have on hand, then my big question is: Why?” Said Kallas about AFP. “Why don’t you use the funds to really end this war?” The outdoor representative fears that Trump would be the conflict in Ukraine and still “strive for agreements and business as before” with Moscow. The special officer Steve Witkoff is expected again this week in Moscow, as Russian state media, citing Kremlin consultants, reported Juri Uschakow. It would be his fourth trip to Russia since Trump’s took office in January. At Wednesday there are also discussions between Ukraine, the USA, Great Britain and France in London. A meeting in this format had already been in Paris last week.
