Why the days are getting longer so quickly children

For all people who don’t like the dark winter, it is a great relief: for many weeks it seemed as if it stayed dark in the morning to get dark again in the afternoon without having changed anything. Now the days are getting noticeably longer again.

One could almost get the impression that the time – at least the duration between sunrise and sunset – in winter, when it is darkest, stands still while it has really picked up speed. If you have to go on the way to school very early on, you can no longer travel in the dark. And in the evening it only dawns when it will soon be meal again.
