The use of electric scooters in Barcelona falls 10%

The use of scooters in Barcelona has been reduced for the first time in recent years. If in 2022 32.14% of the users of the bike lanes moved in these personal mobility vehicles, now 22.42% do. The fourth edition of the cycling radiography prepared by the Club de Catalunya Bicycle (BACC) confirms the trend and attributes it to the prohibition of raising the electric scooter to public transport and also to the sanctioning focus of the Urban Guard. In global, bicycles represent 77.68% of the movement in the lanes.
